When you work with Shadow, she will get to know you and then help you identify goals, behaviors and thoughts to succeed.

step 1: know that you want assistance and support in living your best life.

experiences that might bring you to Shadow:

  • Eating and body image distortions
  • Relationship issues
  • Grief
  • Self-sabotage
  • Personal crisis
  • Life transitions
  • Anxiety/depression
  • PTSD, trauma and stressor-related
  • Spiritual development

step 2: intake session (90 minutes)

In this session, Shadow will get to know you! She wants to know your stories, traumas, experiences, interests, stressors! Please download and complete the Intake Forms (at right) and bring them with you to the appointment, or you can fill them out at your appointment if you arrive early. Using the first three pages, you and Shadow will determine:

  • What you want out of treatment
  • What are the most important areas of your life you’d like to address
  • What makes you feel stuck
  • How to speak to your psycho-energetic system in order to teach you specific tools that will work in your life

step 3: set a schedule

Initially, you will set a schedule for one-on-one therapy appointments, as well as check-ins as needed to support your start on this journey. If possible and appropriate, Shadow may also find you a group session or class in which you can participate. It may be true that you will need more one-on-one therapy before group sessions will be helpful.

step 4: be accountable

Together, you and Shadow will set treatment goals and focus areas wherein you can measure successes and any subsequent desire to add challenges for your personal development. (Yes, you will succeed in your goals and will want to take on more!)
